getting away

Everyone needs that one place or one spot where you can go to set your selves free from your worries, thoughts and obligations. I figured that the beach is that one place for me. Its one place where I can lay down all my burdens. The salty taste onto your tongue, the clouds floating away lazily, sand tickling between your toes and the shimmering sea shinning like crystals reflecting the rays of the sun in the day and the moon in the night simply sooths the mind. The melody created my the wind blowing, swaying of the trees and crashing of the waves onto the shore makes you forget the burdens and worries of life and calms you down.
The never-ending horizon makes you look at it endlessly making you think what’s there beyond. The best time I like to visit the beach is just before sunset.  The sky turns into a live canvas. The clouds give the sky a certain texture and the setting sun fills the monotonous blue sky with some eye-catching colors and tones. I lay down on the soft sand looking at nature create its masterpiece on the live canvas above me.
As the sun sets the beach becomes even more peaceful and surreal. The moon and twinkling stars set into the canvas.
This is what I felt about the beach when I first saw it and realized I can spend hours there staring at the endless sea.
